The Leadership and Senior Executive Services Division is managed by the Commissioners and the CEO of the PSC Office who provide strategic HR policy advice to the Prime Minister and administer the provisions of the Public Service Act 2002. The Division has been recently restructured to address the statutory functions of the Commission as required by law. It manages the operations of the Commissioners unit which includes Senior Executive Services primarily for Chief Executives and professional contracts. In addition to strategic mapping, guidance, and mobilising resources, it also looks after the Commission‘s public relations and relationship with stakeholders, particularly Cabinet, Employer Associations, and the media.
The CEO leads and manages the implementation of these activities and is assisted by a Senior Executive Services Manager, Senior Assistant Secretary, and Assistant Principal Registry Officer.
