Legal, Policy & Investigation

“Our purpose is to provide effective administration, advice and advocacy of the Commission’s legal instrument, disciplinary and investigation functions and processes.” – refer to Results Map in PSC Corporate Plan 2022/23
The Legal, Policy and Investigation Division is established to develop and administer appropriate legislation and policies including legal, investigative, and advisory obligations of the Commission, in an inclusive, fair, transparent, and timely manner. The Division functions to support the Chief Executive Officer, the Public Service Commission, the Hon. Prime Minister and line ministries on all legal and policy matters relating to the public service.
This program is administered by the Director for Legal, Policy and Investigation with the support of a Senior Assistant Secretary and a Legal Officer.
