“Our purpose is to establish Performance based systems for developing, managing and improving Public Service Performance.” – refer to Results Map in PSC Corporate Plan 2022/23
The Performance Development team was established to address the demand from the Public Service Amendment Act and the Public Service Policy Instructions for all public servants to perform according to pre-determined performance targets which have been cascaded from the Ministry’s Corporate and Annual Management Plan. Our team’s focus is on implementing work programs aligned with the approved performance development framework with particular emphasis on building a performance-oriented culture within the Public Service and providing the necessary tools for all employees to enjoy meaningful and impactful careers within the Public Service, both now and in future.
This program is administered by the Deputy Secretary for Performance Development with the support of a Principal Assistant Secretary, Senior Assistant Secretary and two (2) Assistant Secretaries.
